Baby shower for your 2nd baby?

Hey everyone, 
Someone asked me today if I’m going to have a “baby sprinkle” LOL and that she would love to come. I never even thought to have a party. Maybe after he arrives have a “meet the baby”party? What are you guys doing? Or not doing? LOL!

The only time i would have a baby sprinkle is for either A a different gender baby or B an unexpected baby.

Where I’m from it’s typically considered tacky to have a shower for subsequent babies. Mine were only 16 months apart so I def didn’t have a shower for my 2nd as I already had everything I needed. But to each their own! You do what feels right to you, I’m in the minority on this app apparently

I have baby showers for every baby I have. And definitely not a sprinkle whatever that is. My family goes big no matter what age gap and gender. Every baby gets celebrated the same. For us, it’s just for the food and dancing and time together

My son will be 3 when baby #2 gets here… that’s a no for me. We don’t really need much, and the things we do need I’m getting handed down from friends, or we’ll just purchase ourselves. I don’t really consider it tacky, just unnecessary, to have another shower. We have so much stuff already!

My SIL had a sprinkle for her second baby and it was tasteful and cute! It was more like a celebratory brunch and we brought some new clothes and themed stuff for the new nursery theme. And some big sibling clothes for the older one. Definitely not as big of a process as the first baby but it was nice for my family to celebrate both pregnancies

Mine will be 3.5 years apart but I borrowed almost all of the big stuff(swings, bassinet, bouncers, etc) so I’m trying to decide about a shower.

We were supposed to do a sprinkle for my second, but covid made it impossible. Haven't decided if we'll do something this time around.

I’m not sure what we are going to do. My kids will be almost 4 years apart so I feel it would be ok to have a shower. We don’t need much because I kept a decent amount from my first pregnancy, but there is definitely stuff we need. I think we might just share our list and if people want to buy things they will.
