15 fertilized, 0 blasts

I am feeling so defeated after my first retrieval failed. We had 15 fertilized mature eggs that were progressing so well to day 3, and then they just stopped. We have no blasts. I’m in shock and so upset.

We did PICSI so my dr thought it could have been an egg quality issue. However I’m 31, very healthy and fit. I take all the recommended supplements. He wants to do another retrieval cycle with a lower dose of meds. This is the first time in this process I actually felt like maybe I’ll never be a mom 🥺
