He said he’s not looking for looks anymore

My bf and I have been together for 10 months now. He’s an amazing guy but not so long ago he mentioned something that kinda idk made me 🙂

I know it’s not that serious..when he first met I wasn’t into looking for a relationship so we were casually dating and hanging out

One thing he said he was looking for looks anymore

And idk why when I sat there I thought…so I’m not pretty

And don’t get me wrong I know I’m not the hottest or prettiest girl

But when he said that it kinda felt like he said “you’re not that pretty but that’s not I’m looking for it’s about the personality”

Back to the not so long ago

We were talking about how we grew and changed and basically told me he wouldn’t have dated me back then because I didn’t have boobs and he realized that looks aren’t what matters and that he didn’t need to date the most beautiful girl

And idk as a gf it kinda now feels like damn so you don’t think I’m the most beautiful girl in the world?

I’m saying this bc you know when ur in love no matter what your person is the most handsome or most beautiful to you…that’s what I mean by this

But I completely understand what he’s talking about.

It just lowkey idk why it made it feel like he settled 🥴

Even though I know what he meant. He loves me and I know that. I just don’t feel as pretty for him anymore.

Idk just wanted to vent.
