Is having three names a yes or a no? We are thinking of giving our baby boy three names not including his surname but want to know if this is done much or is it more of a UK thing

My son has his first name and 2 middle names!

My baby boy has a first name and technically two middle names but I hyphenated it so his middle name is John-Paul after my dad John and my partners late uncle who he adored Paul. It's nice to have names that mean something to both parents.

All my kids have 2 middle names and 1 last name. Idc who likes it but I’ve damn near used all the letters in the alphabet for my kids and that’s basically 15 names I have come up with

Name your baby with however many names you want. One of my brothers has three names. I don’t think it should matter to anyone else. It’s not like they’ll be calling him by his full name all the time.

My aunt gave one of her sons three names (the first was a family name that he doesn’t go by). He actually goes by the third name, lol. 
I would say go for it, but just know they might end up only using one/two names eventually. Won’t hurt to have an extra name. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel like it’s your child and if you want three names, go with it. My friend named her son with three…granted I don’t remember his third 😬 but still, I don’t think there is a right or wrong with this
