Trigger Shot DPO Counting

How do you count DPO after taking the trigger shot? My last trigger shot was on a Thursday afternoon/evening. If I were using my OPKs, it would register peak on that day & I would count ovulation on Friday. But the doctor told me if we were doing IUI that month, the procedure would be on Saturday.
