What to say? When you catch someone in a lie about money. Instead of paying me back, they came up with some “my account was froze Bc of fraud” when I know the exact truth! I don’t want to be confrontational due to fear of not getting paid back. Do I just leave them on read or LOL or say something smart assy?

Leave them on read. People like that’s I’ll never hear you out. My mama always said, money lent is a gift, never expect more. You’ll be surprised and delighted if you get it back but won’t hate so much when you get left without.

File a claim in small claims court. Depending on the amount you gave. That’s really the only way to get it back when people don’t want too. But it has to be a substantial amount for them to even consider it

I would just say, “When will it be unfroze because I was expecting to be paid back this week.” then just accept whatever they say and leave it alone after that. When you do finally get your money, if they ever ask you for another dime, just tell them your account got froze.
And in the future, don’t loan anyone thousands. Ever. Whether you think it was a gift or not, you always need to be prepared to￼ take it as a loss when you loan someone money.￼ At least you learned that you can’t trust this person anymore.

It depends on how much it is and who that person is. Are they really even going to pay you back?  
You could wait until you get it back and then ask them why they lied if its still eating away at you 
Or you could say fuck the money and call his/her bullshit. 
I hate when people lie to me as if ima go get a belt and whoop em.
