Talk about loosing my excitement

I went to my dating US yesterday & the doctor couldn’t see anything abdominal or vaginal. I was devastated bc I had a miscarriage in 2020. He had me redo my blood work & go home. He called me 3 hours later telling me to rush back & go to the radiology department so the “professional sonogram techs” can do the US again & on the phone mentioned how I could be having an ectopic pregnancy. I went home & hours later he called me saying I’m 5w5d but didn’t detect a heartbeat. This is my first time at a Naval Hospital but man I have lost ALL of my excitement after yesterday. The doctor went from I’m probably not pregnant to it could be ectopic to I’m 5w5d 😑
