Ultrasound gone wrong ??

I’m 16 weeks now but I went to get an ultrasound last week to get the gender at 15wks. The lady struggled about 20 minutes to figure it out and said I was very dehydrated and that made it very difficult to tell. She also said that since the umbilical cord was in between the legs she couldn’t figure it out. Then came back and said it looked like a boy but should I go boy crazy or try it again later? Has anyone gotten it wrong?

It’s definitely not too early this is my very obvious boy at 14 weeks, but that is not a very good potty shot. The legs aren’t spread to really see any parts.

Way to early to tell. I’d wait. Could be but not 100% 
Make sure you’re fully hydrated next time.

I was Able to clearly see a pickle at 14w with my son im 15 right now almost 16 that looks like a girl

Honestly looks like a girl to me, but I am no expert at all!! But usually when I see those leg shots there’s a clear “3rd leg” in the middle 😂

Its not too early to tell , I found out with my youngest son and my baby I'm pregnant with now that I am having a boy at 12 weeks 6 days / 13 weeks and was confirmed again this pregnancy at 16 weeks .. you should have another ultrasound with your doctor at 20 weeks and you will definitely know forsure , just hold off until then

The bottom is a picture of my son at 16 weeks and the top was done last week at 15 weeks with my current pregnancy showing we are having a daughter ❤ not too early to tell

At 12 weeks, an ultrasound tech gave us a very confident sounding guess that it was a girl based on the straightness of a bone in the pubic area … two weeks later the bloodwork came back saying it was a boy! If I had it to do over again, I would have said no to the guess and waited for the more reliable method.  Especially knowing now they can’t really tell in ultrasound until around 18 weeks. It was a bit of a rollercoaster!

If she's not sure, just don't. Plus, it's too early to buy anything anyway. You can't get the newborn onsies and warm pajamas you'll need until at least November, and you don't know how big they'll be by next summer.
