Pain in belly

I've been in early labour for quite a few days now and last night my contractions got so bad I wanted to cry but they weren't close enough to go to the hospital. I had trouble sleeping but this morning my whole belly hurt. It hasn't stopped all day but I haven't got any more contractions. It hurts to do anything but no one thinks I should go to L&D. Can someone help please.
