For me, conception date. I had irregular cycles as well so going off my last period didn’t work. I knew my exact ovulation date and went by that until my dating scan. I was spot on for how far along I thought I was. If I went by my last period, it had me 5 days off.

If you are 100% sure on your conception date go with that. 
I knew my conception date and the dating scan put me back 4 days, I know I didn't get pregnant then because my partner was working away but they still moved my date from Oct 16 to Oct 20.
When I went back for the next scan I was measuring right on track (Oct 16) to my conception date, and when I went for the most recent scan at 22w I was measuring 5 days ahead at Oct 11. If I had stuck with the dating scan I would be measuring 9 days ahead now!

Conception date (when sperm meets egg) will always be the most accurate way of projecting the due date. The problem is that it can be quite difficult to actually pinpoint exactly when conception occurred. 
Next best thing is the dating scan, which is usually done during early gestation when the rate of growth is fairly predictable. 
Predicting from menstrual cycles must be the most inaccurate way because it doesn’t necessarily tell you when ovulation occurred.

I’ll be it wrested to see where I measure at my 8w (first) appt. Right now they have me based off LMP but I have a good idea of ovulation and we only had sex twice this month a day apart so not a lot of options there.
