Had my period for 4 days then on my last day I had tested positive on two pregnancy tests. I called my doctor and she said to get an HCG test done. The levels are below. Has anyone had this happen to them??

This happened to me in my first pregnancy 🙋‍♀️
Didn’t know I was pregnant until much further into the pregnancy because I thought I had a period - which mustn’t have been a period at all as a dating scan revealed I would have already been pregnant at that stage.
The bleeding was pretty similar to a normal period, it was a bit later than expected but I blamed that on stress at the time. My doctor couldn’t confirm what would have caused the bleeding but in my second pregnancy I had a subchorionic hematoma which they initially picked up in an early ultrasound. I think the ‘period’ bleed with my first was also caused by a hematoma but by the time I had my first scan it had already healed and there was nothing to see 🤷‍♀️

Could have been what you thought was a period but was actually early pregnancy spotting which is normal. Is your OB going to recheck your numbers in 48?

Instead of a period you may have had implantation bleeding which is common
