First period on the pill

I started microgestin 10weeks pp and I got my period last Tuesday 7/27 and I’m still on my period 8/1 and it doesn’t seem like it’s stopping soon😩 I stopped taking the pill because it made me feel horrible and I decided to just stick to condoms now. Has anyone gone through this? When should I worry? My period is still super heavy and not so much painful but I’ll get a couple of cramps here and there
