Membrane Sweep: is it painful?

Question

I'm trying to gauge if this is something I want to do if my doctor offers it to me. If "painful" isn't the word to describe the sensation, please comment with how it did feel (lots of pressure, uncomfortable, pinching, tight, etc).

I am 38and6, just got one today at 2cm and 65% effaced. It was not painful at all, just felt uncomfortable and pressure.

Uncomfortable.  Luckily my midwife didn't tell me she was going to do it until she was actually doing it.  It's very unpleasant but it's also over in less than 10 secs or so.

I thought it was very uncomfortable....but I was only finger tip dilated. Lots of pressure.

I think it depends on dilation. Im only 1cm and i leapt backward and ir couldn't be finished. Hoping that after i dilate a little more, we can try again.

Not pleasant at all but it's more pressure than pain but a little pain.
