D&C or medication..

I made a post before about this. I had only been to an independent ultrasound place that does abdominal scans only. They could not see a heartbeat. Did not have an obgyn at the time. That was 2 weeks ago.

I just had my miscarriage confirmed by an obgyn. They did a transvaginal ultrasound. This would be my 4th loss. I have an appointment on Thursday for a more thorough ultrasound. Just to see if they can see better what is going on.

I know for a fact that there is no longer a baby growing. I should be 11 weeks as of yesterday. But they could not even really see what resembles a baby, but did see a yolk sac (measuring about 8 weeks) and a decent sized gestational sac. They also saw bleeding / a blood clot outside the placenta, between the uterine wall. Slowly detaching the placenta. Which is why they want to do the second ultrasound.

But I get to choose a D&C or medication...

I'm feeling a bit numb emotionally.
