Chemical and now LEEP

So I got my first ever positive over the weekend (line progression was looking good), but suddenly yesterday the line got fainter and today it's almost nonexistent and AF has arrived. It was what I was worried might happen, so I'm assuming this is my first chemical to go with my first positive - not a combo I wanted to experience 😔 What it does mean is that the news last week that I'd need a LEEP/LLETZ is happening quickly and I'm booked in for next mid week. I'm feeling pretty nervous about it, I know it's a longer recovery than the biopsy. But has anyone else been through one and can you tell me how it went and the recovery? I like to be prepared, it helps to calm my nerves a little bit. Thanks in advance for anything you are willing to share.
