Cloth nappies

Question

I want to use cloth nappies this time around but I don’t know how many I’ll need? 
Can someone who has used cloth nappies give me an idea of how many I should buy before baby arrives.

I suggest 24 cloth diapers and that should last you about 2-3 days between washes with an infant! I like mama koala a lot but instead of the microfiber inserts they come with, I use Osocozy cotton prefolds to stuff them! I prefer pocket diapers but others prefer prefolds and covers or All in ones. There’s tons of helpful info on FluffLoveUniversity.com

it really depends how often you want to do laundry and/or whether you’re going full cloth. if you’re full cloth diaper i say you should own about 12 (if you plan on washing them daily) or 24 for newborns up to about 6-8 months. personally, we only cloth during the day so we use about 12 daily at 2 months and then when he turns about 6months we’ll full cloth diaper so he’ll go through about 6-8 diapers day and night

I think I have about 24 of them with the shells and inserts, plus about 6 waterproof covers and another 20 or so Terry towelling / bamboo style that I can put under the waterproof covers.
I really have no idea what I'm doing here 😂 I'm going to just wing it. I have a pack of disposables for the hospital then it's cloth time.
