Hi y'all. I'm just curious why first morning urine is better and more concentrated. I understand that it's been "stored up" all night, but is that the only reason? The way I see it.. If levels only rise, wouldn't the concentration be stronger at night than that previous morning? Maybe I'm just confused! Thanks :)

I think they only suggest it because it's not diluted with any liquids. Hormone levels can be detected at any time of day, or so I've read 😊

It's because the urine has sat in your bladder for longer which is what makes it more concentrated because you've been sleeping and not up peeing every 2 hours. It's not really about time of day.
