Herniation of the gut?

anyone else see this at their 10-11 week ultrasound? I go back in 2 weeks to see if it’s resolved but I’m freaking out.

No I don't recall either lol but I don't think I've been scanned early before.so may have happened just not been aware

Thanks. I was measuring 10+4 … I go back in 2 weeks so hopefully it’s gone! Don’t recall ever learning about this with my previous 2 kiddos.

I had this at 10 wks plus 2. The way the cord forms is by pushing out and going back in by about 12 weeks. I had a protrusion in the bowel buy went back at 12 and had all formed. I was told by all consultants  sonographers not to worry  was very common. Still though I understand your stress, I worried

I don’t have experience with this. But from what I read online, it’s not terribly uncommon and usually fixes itself by 12 weeks. It sounds like you don’t need to worry unless it’s still there after 12 weeks. That must have been terrifying to hear. Hugs and hope it all turns out well. Update us
