Is it normal my sex drive is off ??

My baby is 4 months old and I’m exclusively breastfeeding. My bf got mad at me saying he isn’t trying nomore he’s tired of trying. I explained I’m tired we have 5 kids. I told him my sec drive is low. But he says I’m making excuses and I’m really not. We get intimate sometimes but sometimes I’m just not in the mood. And I told him we could watch movies together set up a date night together and then get sexual after but he doesn’t want to hear that. Is it normal my sex drive is low after my baby that’s 4 months?

Your boy friend sounds like an asshole. Sounds like he expects to get laid without putting in any effort. You should absolutely get your date night and even then he shouldn’t be expecting sex. 
We’ve had sex maybe 4 times since our baby was born 5 months ago amd we are both totally OK with it. We are exhausted and that doesn’t make either of us feel sexy. They’ll be plenty of us one for that later.

He isn’t an awful partner... geez he just doesn’t understand and is clearly frustrated. I have felt similarly and my husband feel like he is compromising by letting it go once a week. My mom warned me about making time to keep strong the marriage but honestly after not having my own body to myself every day, when the baby goes to bed I just want to be left alone. Lol unlesssss he gives me a massage. It just seems like after the craziness of the day that having sex  has to be done quickly and we women don’t work like that. I suggest and what I guess has worked for me is to explain really well how you feel to your boyfriend and show him some articles online about how breastfeeding women have lowered estrogen so he knows it’s not a lowered attraction which is what I feel like my husband felt.  And I know this part will be hard because you are taking care of a child all day  blur you need to show him you love him and perhaps this romance will allow for sex at least once a week. What my mom said was that in 20 or so years from now - kids will be gone but you will be with your partner. Lol hopefully. So buildings and maintaining that unit is important.

I have enough of men forcing their sexuality on women. It doesn’t matter if married or not, being married doesn’t mean men are allowed to do what they want and the woman needs to jump at their every whistle. If they have a problem in their pants department, shall they try their own hand. But for sex both parties‘ enjoyment and consent is needed. Else it’s basically rape. Yes, also in a marriage.

I have 3 kids .SAHM 10,6,and 5 months.  I'm done at the end of the day by the time I lay my little down it's usually 9:30 and sometimes I just want to be completely left alone. Other times though I could go for 2 rounds so it just depends on alot. When I was nursing though that was a completely different story. I felt like my body wasn't my body with little always at the boob. I literally felt like a cow and I really didn't even want to be touch. Plus I was so dry when nursing we had to use lube and it took some time after the 6 weeks for me not to hurt down below while having sex. Nursing messes alot with your hormones and there's nothing wrong with you. It's completely normal.

Girl, I hear you! Going through the same thing with my partner I’m a mom of 4 so I can definitely understand the tiredness. I think men can be oblivious when it comes to PP and how it really affects our sex drive. They think we’re supposed to spring back and get right down to it like…excuse me sir? I’m sure for most of us moms, sex is one of the last things on our mind. What you suggested is great, a little date night between the two of you and get romantic and just have fun. He has to learn patience and understanding!  Good luck!!

Yes totally normal. The way breastfeeding works as "birth control" lowers you estrogen levels, so you don't ovulate. Low estrogen =low drive.
I am right there with you. Absolutely no desire. Thankfully my husband and I have talked about it and he understands.

Yes it's normal. I only have 2 kids and there's literally no time, so I can't even imagine with 5. Then you throw in the fact that you're probably constantly being touched all day long so by the end of the day you're touched out. Add in breastfeeding and hormones and they're honestly lucky we even look their way.
