Are you vaccinated?

Currently on my 2nd trimester & I’m having a hard time debating if I should take the covid vaccine or not. I was planning on not to just because I don’t want to risk anything, especially since I’m pregnant but now my job is mandating all employees to take it or else I’ll be terminated. Also, I had an OB appointment yesterday & they just recently told me I need to be vaccinated in order to keep seeing my OB. I’m lost!!

There has been no evidence linking the vaccine to anything harmful for you or the baby. 
There has been a ton of proven cases of pregnant women  losing their baby and dying from covid. I got the vaccine and have had zero side effects. I’m 32 weeks now

If you don’t want to risk anything you should get the vaccine. The vaccine is proven safe and effective for pregnant women. On the other hand, pregnant women are at higher risk for severe cases of Covid and death. The risks of getting Covid are so much greater than any risk of the vaccine.

I got my first dose a week before finding out and the second dose at 6 weeks. About to hit week 20 and baby genetically is perfect and she’s moving a ton! 
I had no symptoms to it. 
I also had Covid in Jan and 10/10 would not recommend. It was hard when not pregnant. I couldn’t imagine Being pregnant with it.

I would be finding a new job and a new OB. You shouldn’t have to feel forced to get it if you aren’t comfortable getting it.

Wow, have to be vaccinated to see your OB is very extreme but I do recommend getting it . I spoke with multiple physicians in who I work closely with because I was going back and forth, and they told me it was fine after month 3 (once baby has all their features and limbs formed).

I got my first dose of Pfizer at 7 weeks. All evidence shows that it doesn’t increase the risk of miscarriage and the vaccine doesn’t cross into the placenta or to the baby. The delta variant has been fcking up pregnant women horribly bad so that was enough of a reason for me to get it.

I’m at a higher risk for miscarriage but my OB said to wait until after pregnancy to get vaccinated, but I do plan on getting it right after when she gives me the okay. I honestly haven’t heard anything bad she just said that there’s not enough evidence sayings it’s safe. I would just go with whatever your doctor says.

I waited till after my baby was born to get vaccinated. But I also live in an area with next to no cases and has had very few through the whole pandemic. 
I know lots of people who got the vaccine while pregnant with no issues :)

I am fully vaccinated since 18 weeks and baby is doing great. I’m 27 weeks now🥳. Last time I was in multiple people were wearing their masks under their nose including the lady at the front desk.  I wish my dr office would be more strict with COVID protection.

I got the Moderna in my third trimester. Barely any side effects. Giving my baby those antibodies as well as continuing protection is very very important to me.  I spoke to three separate doctors before getting the vaccine and researched using reputable science backed sources. It was an easy choice. 
I lost two family members within a week of each other early on in this pandemic. It’s not a pain I would wish on anyone. Getting the vaccine was the easiest thing I could go (in addition to masking, social distancing, washing hands) to protect my daughter.
