Does your husband/SO ever complain that sex hurts HIM w/u being almost full term?

I'm asking this group because I'm 38 weeks. It's been nearly a month since my husband and I had sex. Now I want it more with hopes of helping induce labor. But, he admitted tonight it "sometimes hurts him." My gut says it's just an excuse and he's just not that into me being a whale..😞...Ask your men. Do any of them agree?! I'm hormonal and slightly depressed now... 😒

My SO said it's uncomfortable becuase it feels a lot like when I'm having a hard time getting aroused or relaxing, and it makes him feel like he's doing something wrong or hurting me. Thus ruining it for him. 
He's also mentioned it feels like he's forcing it in and it doesnt feel like it's ever "fitting". So in that way it's uncomfortable and it feels wrong to him. Maybe that's what he means?

I asked my husband this the other night, he says he enjoys it more cause we go slower (I've gained 30 lbs and my thighs burn after 30 seconds on top, haha) but he also did say his balls get squished sometimes and that's not fun, haha >:)

My husband says the angle is awkward now because baby's head is so low but yet I'm not dilated. He says it feels like he can't use the same angle to feel good.

I had severe sciatica and pelvic pain from round ligament, basically I was a beached whale. Having sex was very hard for me and we tried, my husband never complained. On my birthday he did such a great job and gave me a great date that, I was like sure why not?! I was 36&5 we couldn’t finish because I was in so much pain and nothing was working for me, he never said it felt different or anything was different. He was afraid of “hurting the baby” 🙄 Our pathetic attempts resulted in the following day, waking up with  me to having a leak when getting up or sitting down and getting admitted into L&D.; I had the baby at 37 weeks!

My husband says it feels awkward because he thinks he's going to touch baby's head just because the dr did a cervical check to see if I'm dilating at our last apt and she said she touched his head. I said... Babe , do you realize how much pressure she applied to get up in there! You're not going to touch baby lol

Interesting. I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow but he hasn't felt anything different. I was the one that said day that said it felt different for me, like almost tighter? I couldn't explain. but he said it felt normal. Who knows with these last few weeks for myself.
