Nap Struggles
My daughter is 3 months old and we have the hardest time getting her to take naps. She sleeps through the night most nights and then is so hard to get to take a nap. I feel like she sleep eats most feedings and is asleep by the end, so is that when she’s choosing to take a nap? She likes nursing to sleep but I try to avoid that, but even when I have tried that she won’t stay asleep. She also likes to be held for naps which we try to avoid. And she will get fussy when she’s tired but then won’t stay asleep for her nap. Sometimes she has to poop or has a burp stuck and that wakes her up and then she won’t go back to sleep and ends up wanting to eat soon after, even after having a full feeding. Of course, she falls asleep no problem in the car and stays asleep. It’s just very inconsistent and we haven’t found anything that works. Any tips? Does she just not need as many naps? I’m not sure what to do at this point haha.
