Developmental leaps and feedings

Can developmental leaps cause a baby to fight feedings or does it sound like I need to change formula? My daughter always wanted to eat more when she was going through a leap, but my son acts like it’s a struggle to eat. It’s like it pisses him off when I try to feed him, even though I KNOW he’s hungry. I suggested changing his formula at his last well visit due to him spitting up frequently but because of his weight gain she said it doesn’t seem necessary and that spitting up the way he does is normal until around 6 months. He has fought every single feed for the last four days though and we are all miserable 😖 I’m really losing my mind
