Visitor status after baby’s birth ?

Hi, just wondering what everyone is doing for visitors after you come home from the hospital? 
Our family all lives close by and I am not sure how to handle it. It’s flu season, and with COVID about, I want to keep my baby safe. With two kids already in daycare and school, it’s not like we aren’t being exposed already. 
I feel like asking them to wear masks 😷 and wash their hands is appropriate for very close family as long as they are vaccinated. But I’m not all sure. Any thoughts?

Minimal visitors. Guests have to be fully vaccinated - COVID, tdap, and flu. And I will most likely require masks. Absolutely NO KISSING. Not worth the risk for my baby’s life.

I'm not letting anyone visit for the first 8weeks and my ob agreed that this is the best option. Vaccinated or not u can still get an spread covid I know 6 different people who are vaccinated and get covid just recently so I wouldn't let people come even if they are vaccinated.

We are having anyone who comes to visit have a mask the whole time. Don’t have to be vax but just ask if they have been sick or around anyone who’s been sick to not come around for a while.

I’m struggling with this… my older 3 children go to school and I kinda feel like I don’t want them around my baby for a while unless they have on mask the whole time and wash their hands but it seems soooo messed up to have to do that because they are siblings smh. COVID fucks up everything smh

My mom and dad will most likely be watching my girl when we give birth, so I assume we would go straight to my parent's house after we get discharged to pick her up. I have no rules with my parents. They will already take necessary precautions to keep our kids safe. Considering I went to a funeral 5 days after my daughter was born at the height of covid...I guess I don't have too many concerns this time around. Most of the people I know are vaccinated and they are respectful enough to wash their hands before touching baby and not come near if they are sick....so that will suffice for me. I had bad ppd the first time around and isolating myself from my support system isn't a good option for me. Especially since I'll have 2 under 2. Everyone's opinions are valid on how they want their newborn exposed to people...this is just mine.

Masks for anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated the entire time they’re in the house, if you have been vaccinated masks when holding baby. 
Everyone must wash hands up to mid arm regardless; not just a COVID thing Flu & RSV season are too real for this time of year & a huge amount of people in my family (and hubby’s family) work in the school system, so they’re exposed all day by students whose parents send them to school even if they’re sick.

Me and my partner aren't exactly social (and neither are our friends) so it's not something I've really thought about. Family may visit within the first 2 weeks 🤷‍♀️ My Dad is very frequent with visits despite living far away so I imagine he'll visit as soon as him and my older sister are free at the same time so he can drive her down.

Looks like I'm the odd one out, but we don't have any rules for visiting baby. This is our third child. First was also a November baby and second was born in May of 2020. With the first we requested people talk to their doctors about Tdap but that was it. With the second we didn't require masks or anything. Grandparents came over the day they were born and saw friends after a week or 2.
My oldest has only been sick twice in nearly 3 years, my daughter's never been sick, and neither of them showed signs of covid when my husband had it so they're immune systems seem to be robust.

I will only be letting immediate family come see the baby once we get home. My 2 yr old daughter will be the FIRST to meet her baby sister (she’s not in daycare, she stays on with me while I work from home) My mom, dad, little brother and My grandparents are welcome as well. My grandparents aren’t exposed to anything bc they’re all retired and my grandma has breast cancer so she definitely doesn’t go anywhere and I really want her to meet our baby. But other than that I don’t plan on anyone else seeing her immediately.
