Chase Michael?! 💙

So my hubby is the world’s pickiest when it comes to names. We have 2 daughters and have never had to discuss boy names…until now.  He hates trendy names (what he calls made up 😆), but I’m not as picky. I have always loved the name Jace/Jase. He is okay with it, but prefers Chase. Middle name would be Michael after my dad! ❤️ Big sisters are Kelsey and Kiley. 💓 What do you guys think? Or any other suggestions I could throw out?

I think what you have sounds good together. My husband and I are the same as your husband, I don't like the "trendy" names, makes it feel like people try to hard to make their kid feel different. There's already 200 ways to spell my name and it's frustrating when no one can even try to spell it on their own. One brave person at Arby's tried about 8 years ago and spelled out "Katland" even though they had my debit card in their hand to pay for my order. At that point, I gave up and decided I hated trendy names. I digress, we knew shortly after we had our daughter that a boy name for us would be Matthew. My FIL's name is Michael and my husband wishes I would just let him name a son completely after his dad, but I have my issues with his dad. My middle name being Mikal (pronounced michael) also plays a part in it. So we left the conversation a few years ago at Matthew James. Since we found out we're having a boy our discussion has picked back up.
We went from:
Matthew James
Matthew Lee James or Matthew James Lee
Matthew james Ezra (my pick vetoed by my husband)
I also threw out Matthew James Howard.
James is a family name on both of our sides. Howard is my grandpas middle name, and Lee is his father's middle, my husband likes Matthew James Howard the most but hates that it excludes his dad entirely and he's not sure he's going to want to chance a 3rd kid. So were at a stalemate for now, first name is set we just need to figure out the middle names and their order.
