Low thyroid-11.5 weeks pregnant
Hi ladies. This is my second pregnancy (I have a 7.5 month old daughter). I had some gestational hypertension and was induced with her at 37 weeks and that was the extent of my issues. I am now 11.5 weeks pregnant and just got phone call from my OB office saying my blood work showed low thyroid levels and I needed to be evaluated by an endocrinologist. I found an endocrinologist and I am seeing them Monday. The OB office did not go into extent about the levels and there is nothing in my chart. Has anyone ever experienced this in their pregnancies? I’m reading a lot of terrible things on google and I’m trying not to jump to the worst case scenario. Please any personal experience/feedback is welcomed!
