Severe period symptoms. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

I usually have some mild to moderate cramping, but today I had a very strange experience. I was out shopping and while driving, I started feeling really crampy, but it wasn’t that bad. As I was shopping, I started feeling worse and worse. I couldn’t even drive home. I was getting the chills and felt nauseous. When I got home, I took advil and went to lay down. The cramps were bad, but the worst was the nausea. I kept feeling like I was going to throw up. I had the chills but I was sweating and my skin felt clammy, but I wasn’t running a fever. I could barely stand and I felt like I was going to pass out. My arms felt weird and were tingling. I fell asleep for an hour or two and woke up feeling much better. It was so strange. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that sick in my life. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before?
