I like my name, I just wish my mom had spelt it like a normal name amd not add a y for no damn reason.

I'd change my name to Katherine, hence that's the name I use on here. My actual name is Jaclyn which is just awful.

My dad wanted to name me Paula, after Paul McCartney 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣, my mom wanted me to be an Elizabeth. I used to hate my name, but honestly I like it now, I feel like there’s not very many Jacquelines out there. Everyone calls me Jackie, or Jack.

I had a name thought out and planned for when I turned 18. Needless to say I didn’t go through with it because I loved my name. It’s different and I make sure that when people say it incorrectly they are corrected. That was my biggest pet peeve.

I was supposed to be named Scarlet but my mom worried it would be “too popular” after she found out she had a cousin with that name. So she named me Kaitlyn… 🤣
I wish she’d stuck with Scarlet!
