Unisom users

So I started taking unisom at the beginning of my pregnancy because I was violently puking as soon as I woke up. I’ve always taken a half a tablet. I tried weaning off of it twice and the vomiting returned so I just kept taking it. Well even with the half tablet I started puking again, so I upped it to a whole tab. My question is, should I start weaning myself off of it again or will I just not need it once she is born and be fine? I didn’t have this issue with my previous pregnancy so I’m just not sure.
