Little background -

My bf & I have been together for 8 months, I’ve always been open with my phone since day 1, he knows my password and always carries my phone because I don’t like carrying it.

We both agreed we’d never go through each other’s phone, if we ever had any suspicion we’d ask to see it.

So, this weekend we took a trip with friends & got an Airbnb, I hate drama. That’s how I’ve always been so Friday night he started giving me little bit of attitude (nothing extreme) just rolling his eyes and saying things with a bit attitude so since we were there with friends I just avoided him at the end of the night.

We were playing a card game and I received two text, he asked me “who text you” I ignored him because we were in front of everyone and he was just giving me attitude. The next morning I told him who had texted me and we talked about how I didn’t appreciate the attitude, I gave him my phone to carry because I was wearing a bathing suit. 30 min later he comes to me with attitude and says we need to talk, ends up telling me he went through my phone (all I had was texts between me & my BFF just telling her how I don’t appreciate how he’s acting & if I’m overreacting) he flipped about it. But I was so shocked that he went through my phone, he said yesterday when he asked I wasn’t answering so he had a “ugly feeling”.

I told him this morning I ended up telling you who texted me you could’ve asked to see instead of going through my phone.

Anyways, I do not know how to act/ feel, I felt like he passed a line.

I’ve always been open with my phone so the fact that THAT wasn’t enough, makes me feel uneasy..

What are your thoughts?

Edit- he was giving me attitude when I’d start talking

To him in front of everyone, so yes I am going to ignore him instead of looking dumb & I only told my BFF because she noticed
