As the deadline to get our America citizens and Afghan refugees safely out of Afghanistan gets closer it’s becoming obvious we will not be able to get everyone out. People suspect that the White House representatives are being pretty secretive and refuse to give the press estimates on how many Americans are stranded in Afghanistan.

A reporter asked a Taliban spokesman what if the US extend the deadline to be out of Afghanistan. He said “ that will create distrust and provoke a reaction from them”. A clear threat to America to not stay longer then the agreed deadline.

It seems it’s not possible we are going to be able to get all our people out in time. In your opinion should we extend the deadline and stay longer to try and get more of our citizens out, or not stay longer so we don’t provoke and create mistrust with the Taliban?
