Would you rather do a home daycare or in home nanny?

Question

I am going back to work in 2 weeks and have to make a decision. I am torn between an in home daycare and a nanny that comes to my home. I have a 2 month old and I work from home in my own office. Both are great girls who would be watching my daughter but I’m torn. Does she need to be out of the house and socialize with other kids? I’m just afraid of sickness….let me know what you’d do!

I would personally go with a nanny who’s only watching my child/children 
If I had the option between the two, especially during a pandemic, I’d rather not send my child to be around other kids who could possibly be sick (even just the flu!) 
And your baby is sooooo young, so I’d definitely go with a nanny

In home nany where I can have cameras to make sure my baby is treated right because I don't ttrust people.

That young a nanny at home would be perfect! Once they’re over a year I would say somewhere they can begin to socialize with other children, but if you have plans and ability to get them socialized consistently without a daycare, stick with the nanny!

I use to be a nanny for a mom who worked from home and I loved it!!! If I personally had to do something similar I would go with the nanny. Also depending on how you feel about it, i was able to take the little girl to the library, children's museum, park, and other little places to help her get the interaction with other kids. But just having the personal connection was best. And as a mom myself I'd rather have that for my kids then sending them off somewhere else. Plus the idea of knowing I'd still kinda have personal watch over it all would make me feel better lol.

I would personally recommend you go with a nanny that only watches your child , and especially at these times with COVID and stuff it would be better if the child stays at home then go out.

If I could afford it I’d choose a home nanny for a baby. Starting at probably 2 I’d send to daycare. But home nannies are extremely expensive.

I used an in home daycare & loved it. I personally wouldn’t be able to concentrate on work knowing my child was home.  I’d wanna go visit & say hi all the time lol.

Uh she doesn’t need to go out and socialize at 2 months. Lol. Maybe 2 years. If price wasn’t an issue, definitely in home nanny.

I would be distracted with my kids in the next room. Plus as a mum who works full-time, my house is a mess, I would stress about cleaning each morning before nanny arrived.
