5htp and late period?

Hi guys,

Just wondering has anyone experienced 5htp causing a delayed period? I was supposed to have mine two days ago but it's late which is unusual. I highly doubt I'm pregnant because I haven't had sex with my boyfriend yet, and we're pretty careful. Let's just say I would be very surprised if it was that. Yet, I'm feeling a bit uneasy about it just because I haven't felt out of tune with my body. My period comes like clockwork! I've been taking 5htp as a sleep supplement, but if it causes late periods I'm not sure if I want to anymore...
