Is he into me or am I crazy

I will try and make this short and sweet. There’s this guy that I’ve been seeing for the last few weeks. we started talking on Instagram back in the winter when he added me for networking purposes.

back in the summer, I ended up running into him at the grocery store and we started talking a lot more and actually hanging out recently. We’ve hung out at least seven or eight times in the last few weeks and we have a great time together. He bought me something small which was a really cute gesture he’s taken me out to do things like fishing and to lunch etc. And most nights we just hang out at his house have a couple drinks and just talk and laugh all night.

He will text me most of the time and ask how my day is going but here’s where I get confused. He has not once tried to kiss me. Ever. We hug goodbye and that’s it. The other night after I left I texted him and said ‘I really wanted to kiss you tonight’. He texted me the next morning and said ‘I passed out right after you left’ and I said ‘no worries. Sorry I said that’ and he said ‘I don’t want you to be sorry you said that’ 

WTF. And we hung out last night and had the best time. He even made plans for us this weekend to hang out so what gives?? Should I just flat out ask him wtf the deal is? I need advice before I lose my mind! 

Oh and I’m 33 and he’s 38
