How often do you wash your hair?

I wash mine every night, and some of my friends think that's weird, and I should wash every night. I always thought that was unhealthy to do! Lol I guess I'm just curious.

I used to wash my hair daily because it got greasy. Little did I know, it was greasy because I over washed it. I saw a dermatologist who suggested washing my hair every third day, and it took some time, but eventually my hair regulated and I can go about 4 days before it gets noticeable oily. So now, I wash it whenever I feel like it needs it and that's it.

It's actually bad to wash your hair everyday cause it drys and dulls your hair (that's how you get split ends) every time I go to get my hair cut at my hair dressers they always complement me on my very healthy hair cause I wash my hair 2-3 times a week...

I use to wash my hair everyday and it was getting really oily my sister is a hairdresser and told me to wash it three to four times a week and use baby powder or dry shampoo when my hair gets oily and when I was my hair i will use shampoo and conditioner one day only conditioner the next then both but only conditioner on my ends ! Dry shampoo helps so much with oily hair !! And baby powder works the same

When it was down to my butt, once a week. Now that it's shoulder length, twice a week. I have incredibly thick wavy/frizzy hair so straightening it is a bitch! Lol

I can go 2-3 months without washing my hair, but it really just depends on the hairstyle I'm sporting. If I'm not rocking braids or twists, I wash my hair roughly every 2 weeks.
