Compatibility

My boyfriend and I are trying to find out how compatible we are. He hates the beach, wants to stay home on case he needs to be at the restaurant, does hiking, loves car racing and listens to dancehall. I enjoy hiking but for the rest of his choices I dislike. Thing is although for example I'd go watch car racing with him, he'd never want to go at least sit on the beach with me....no sacrifice for the relationship. "He's like why go to the beach where you'd be happy and I won't? ". Makes me sad.
