Hair stylist issues
First off let me say that I have never been to this hair salon before. I decided I wanted to see about getting some hair extensions because I have shorter hair and wanted longer hair. I googled places in my area and read reviews before I settled on one. I booked online and made my appointment. The first thing that didn’t seem right was the fact that she had sent me a link to put my payment method on file to confirm my appointment. I guess I can understand that to an extent because people always cancel or not go to their appointment. So today when me my sister and her 15 month old baby get there nobody greets us, etc. We just have to find the way around the salon to find the restroom. So we are sitting in the waiting area and my appointment was at 1:30 PM so at almost 2:00 PM my sister says “ Nicole what time was your appointment because he’s getting sleepy and we are about to have to go?” It wasn’t until this moment that the person I’m suppose to have a consultation with comes out and ask did either of us have an appointment.. at the time I stated that I did. She said she was going to be 5 more minutes until she was done with the person she was helping. 10 minutes go by and she calls me back. I say I’m her chair and she told me that I needed to wait 4-6 months and let my hair grow so it would look blended. I don’t have a problem with that, but what I do have a problem with is that she charged me $25. I don’t mind paying for services I receive but I literally waited on her for 30 minutes and then was in her chair for 3 or less. I guess I feel like I shouldn’t have been charged. I thought about stopping payment on the charge.. am I in the wrong?
