I usually go swimming almost every weekend with my family. Usually brothers sometimes parents at my parents house. This weekend I will be on my 2nd day and I don’t use tampons only pads. I will still go to my parents if I don’t swim

If you aren’t comfortable wearing tampons or menstrual cups (understandable as they can be painful) then please don’t swim. Telling your family you are on your period and can’t swim this week if far less humiliating than going in wearing a pad and the pad disintegrating and blood clots and bits of pad floating around the pool.

Swimming with a pad on will over-saturate it and it can burst. Which will leave pad fluff and filling all over the pool. Happened to my friend in middle school.
