Trying to Understand

Y’all I need help. My period is all over the place. Seems to be even worse now that we’re TTC. Last period was June 18-22. August 19 and 20th I had some really weird dark brown spotting. Only enough to be present when I wiped. Took a test on Aug 28th thinking it may have been implantation bleeding and it was negative. Now since the 31st I’ve had the same weird spotting. A week worth of spotting but no period. Should I take another test? Anybody have any explanations or advice? I just don’t understand what’s happening with my body.
