Told me ex ( babies father) that we have covid and he said " ew that's gross , that's gross that you have covid "

My ex has never seen our son. I don't feel like I need a intro to this but basically my ex is an ass and is abusive and has the worst thought process ever !!!

So my son calls and he says " mummy has covid " he didn't hear and said " what" so I said " oh he's trying to tell you I've got covid and guess who gave it to me , my sister " then he said " uuuft I wish she'd give me covid " making it sexual which he always does this sexual thing with my older sister even through our marriage saying he wants to be balls deep in her and he's seen me angry and severely upset by it but continues.

Then he says " that's gross " and I say " what's gross ?" He says " you having covid , that's gross"

Baring in mind my ex is in the medic field on the road and has patients he sees and vaccinates. I'm not vaccinated myself. He put a post a while ago on fb about how bad covid is as he's seen it etc and when I get it he says it's gross.

Last year when I got shingles randomly he said " ewww you have herpes , you're gross. You had your boyfriend cg rub his dick on you" cg is a gamertag of someone I play xbox with but I play literally loads of people he's just jealous about him for some reason.

I just sit here and think.....What the hell did I do wrong in life for someone , anyone , especially my ex husband and father of my child to turn around and call me out to be gross for being really ill. He was sooo into insulting me that he didn't for a second ask about how our son was doing. Instead he said has he got over it and said I could take him to school this Thursday because his symptoms have gone and then I said that's not true as its still in his system and I can't take him as I still have covid and he nearly yelled at me.

So I got my son to take a lateral flow test and it immediately showed positive and I said there see , we have to isolate !!!

I literally hate him so much.

Is it wrong of me to cut him out of our lives??

He never speaks to our son, he's always rude to him and hangs up on our son all the time and that upset him so he rang back and said " I want a nice daddy" and so my ex said " oh you want a nice daddy ? Go and find one then!!!" Before hanging up for the last time
