quitting my job
so i just got a new job about 3 months ago as a caregiver, they are very low staff and it’s only me and one other caregiver on the floor with 230 residents. i am very unhappy at this job, and the only thing that’s keeping me from leaving are the residents. the one nurse that works there knows someone i’ve had a very bad history with who use to run me off the roads and stalk me, the nurse tells that person my information including my covid test results and what i do for work, the person then texted me before i even get the job, “have you wiped ass yet?” and “are you in memory care? if so, betty is my favorite” which is totally wrong of the nurse to tell someone outside of the residency, the residents information also. i was also exposed to covid 2 weeks ago and they didn’t care, they wanted me to come in the next day (which is not fair to the residents who have weak immune systems). i want to quit my job effective immediately, is this a good idea?
