Our Christmas announcement
After our miscarriage at 6 weeks + 1 in May, my boyfriend and I decided that if we got pregnant again we would get a scan at 8 weeks to confirm a heartbeat (I know that doesn't guarantee no miscarriage but it lowers the odds) before we told our family, however... Finding out shortly before Christmas means if we wait until 8 weeks we'd be missing out on a great pregnancy reveal. 
So we've decided we're telling our families on Christmas Day. On Christmas Day I will be exactly 6 weeks and 1 day.
Five gifts: to his brother, his mum, his dad (divorced), my mum and my little sister. I won't be seeing the rest of the siblings on Christmas Day so I can tell them in person.
The outside labels just say 'mum' etc.
