FTM have a question about the body before labor.

So I went to the doctor today and had a membrance sweep. I'm 39 weeks and 2days, she said I'm dilated to a 3 but stretched me to a 4. But also said my cervix is high. Dose your cervix move down when labor is near? Iv been losing my mucus plug for the past few weeks, lost more just yesterday. Oh btw last week appointment I was dilated 2 almost a 3. Dose labor sound like it could be soon?
