waxing

i am 31 weeks pregnant and want to wax before i give birth so my husband and doctors won’t see me so hairy (yes I know hair is natural ) but I’m highly indicate and this is just personal preference I can barely shave so a wax will be the only option that far out ! can we use numbing cream ? does the pain hurt the baby from the wax ? That’s the only reason I’m scared of doing it
