Weight gain with twins?

Just a question this is my 5th pregnancy but 1st twin pregnancy and all my previous pregnancy weight gains have been different. So I'm asking twin moms is a 9 pound weight gain normal between 2 and 4 months? I went to the first appointment I weighed 146 @ 9 weeks then my appointment this week (I am 16 weeks) I weighed 157.. I don't really eat that much because I'm not hungry like I was with my single babies.. Is that normal?

I'm 20weeks with twins and its been rough gaining weight. I know with twins some people tend to not gain as much weight. There's not much room in the belly with twins. As long as you are trying to eat whatever sounds good and take your prenatals you should be fine. I lost weight in the beginning from being sick, but I've gained 10lbs now finally, but even now i find it hard to eat, I don't have that want to eat everything in site thing I thought I would have. All I know is twins is different....

I didn't start gaining weight until
Around week 16. The first trimester I ate a little less than normal
Not because of Nausea or anything just didn't feel that hungry. My appetite then picked up and now at 27 weeks I have gained 25 pounds.

I had sever morning sickness the first 14 weeks. So I actually lost weight that first trimester. But after that it was all up hill. I gained over 60lbs. Which for me would be normal because that's 30lbs per baby and that's what I gained with my first two pregnancies.

Sounds normal to me :) I'm 33 weeks and have gained 25 lbs - as long as babies are growing well I don't think weight gain is a huge issue . I think anywhere between 30-55 lbs weight gain with twins is considered " normal" but I'm sure people have gained more or less and still had healthy pregnancies !
