Ready to quit!

Alana • Las Vegan, early-thirties mama of 2 boys
I hope I don't ruffle too many feathers here, but is anyone else ready to quit their jobs and become a Stay at Home Mom? I'm 8W3D, ftm, I teach second grade, and I really would like to leave my job and stay home. At least for the first couple years...
1) I don't make enough to justify paying for childcare while I'm at work.
2) I'm a first year teacher so I wouldn't receive maternity leave (plus my due date is in mid/late July, school starts in August).
3) I have to get my Masters to keep my license, so I could use a year or two off of teaching to complete that. (That's a tall order with a baby much less a full time job!)
4) I want to spend time with my baby, learning how to be the parent I want to be.
5) DH will be making more than I would be.
I realize this is a touchy subject, but I would love some support and advice from those who ARE SAHM. Please, no mama-bashing! I realize not everyone can/should SAH, so if you don't have anything nice to say, please restrain yourself and post your own ranting post outside of here. Thanks in advance!
