painful sex STILL ??

i’m 14 weeks pp and sex is so painful. i was cleared at 8wks and we’ve only had sex three times very spread out because it hurts to the point i feel like crying.
i had a vaginal unmediated delivery(and i can honestly say sex hurts worse than childbirth, i have a high pain tolerance that’s how ik somethings wrong) and a 2nd degree tear but im healed up. the doctor even looked to make sure everything was okay after i told them about the pain. we use LOTS of lube, foreplay, etc. but it feels like i’m about to rip open- i’m worried i might’ve gotten a husband stitch or something (it happened to my sister and she can no longer have pain free sex)
is it normal for sex to still be incredibly painful at 3.5 months ?

Sex FINALLY started feeling normal again for me this month with no pain at all. Almost 9m postpartum.

Also happened to me, it was sooo uncomfortable and i had CERO sex drive… i think it might have been a hormonal thing too, because sex was very unpleasant until i stopped breastfeeding… right after that it was great again…

Honestly, I’m almost 12 month pp and certain positions still are painful for me. I had excess tissue down there removed since it was uncomfortable and bothering me. Idk if it was the stitching from my original 1st degree year or the stitching from when they removed the excess tissue a few months later - but either way - it doesn’t feel good in a lot of positions and I tell him to stop. I thought by now I wouldn’t feel this way but unfortunately I do.

I’m in the same boat at 18 weeks. It gets a little better every time but I’ve just accepted it’s going to be like that for awhile
