Painful sex

Me n my husband were having sex and usually it feels extremely good and we finish quickly no problems,

But tonight it hurt extremely bad to where I had to push him off and I started crying ( I was embarrassed but he comforted me and told me it was okay) it felt like he was in my guts but hitting something extremely hard..

Any idea what this could be or if I should be worried?
