How often do you see your boyfriend?

My boyfriend lives around 40 minutes away from me, he works full time and so do I but I still feel that I don't see enough of him:( we text all the time but I see him maybe every other weekend. How often do you see your boyfriend??

When my husband and I were dating he lived 40 minutes from me, I would see him at least 3 or 4 days a week unless he was out of town for work. I for sure put a lot of miles on my car 😂 Even on weekends we both worked we would hang out afterwards. We didn’t do sleepovers either 🤷🏻‍♀️ what worked best for us is to chose one day a week that we would both commit to not working (for us it was Sunday) so we knew we’d for sure have that whole day.

His work is 40 minutes and his house is 28. I go visit during lunch break on Wednesdays and every Saturday he comes to my house by ~8am until 9pm for boyfriend day which begins with a nap and 7-11 run. I have college at the moment, and I should’ve been able to find a work study job by this point. For the first 4 months I knew him I lived 85 minutes from his house. He would show up at 8am on Thursday morning to hang out till dinner time and my mom and bro usually were home too. We call most nights, and when he drives home from work at 5:30. We’ve been able to spend 10-15 hours a week together ever since we became official in April. He says his full time job is boyfriend, and he works part time 50 hours a week at his “other job”. He’s 25 and I’m 22 in 8 weeks. I don’t have as many obligations as him so I work mostly around his schedule. Early on I struggled with being 85 minutes away and in different states. Luckily I had to transfer colleges ( I moved in July) and I only got into one that’s within a half hour of him. I grew up in that state so I was very happy to be back, and have more of a partner experience. Having time together used to be difficult. We make each other a priority. If someone asks if I can come to XYZ event on a Saturday, I say no, but I will double check. It has helped that he’s always filled me in on details of his work day. It makes me feel like I’m more involved and up to date on his daily life that I can’t grasp since we don’t live together.
