Dye run or positive test?

Hi all! I’m 35 (turning 36 in November) and while we have only been TTC for 3 months for baby #2, I’m nervous I waited too long to try after giving birth due to my age. Everything I read said to wait 12-18 months and we started trying after 12 months. We have sex every day of my fertile window but have had no luck. I attach a pic of a test I took this morning. It looks like maybe a dye run but I had hope. I took a first response test later in the morning (not with first pee of day though) and it was negative. Period is due in 4 days.
